Summary of my career
I had my B.Sc.Ag. (Hons.) from BAI, M.Sc. (Agron.) from Bangladesh Agricultural University, M.Sc. in Agronomy from the University of Nottingham and Ph.D. degree from Jahangirnagar University. Previously I worked as Scientific Officer at the Agronomy Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, Joydebpur, Gazipur; Lecturer at Bangladesh Agricultural Institute, Dhaka, Bangladesh; Assistant Professor both at Patuakhali Agricultural College (Now Patuakhali Science and Technology University) and Bangladesh Agricultural Institute, Dhaka. Then I worked as Associate Professor at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka. Currently I work as a Professor of Agronomy at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh teaching BS , MS and Ph.D. students in Agronomy; conduct thesis works of the MS and Ph. D. Agronomy students. I do final editing of the Journal of Experimental Biosciences as Chief Editor. I carry out different project works both On-station and On-farm research on field crops on generating and applying technologies to increase crop yield and qualities. I also work to disseminating technologies at farmer's level. I do edit/review different scientific writing. Currently I work on volunteer basis as the Executive Director for the Agrarian Research Foundation. I also supervise a national project as the Principal Investigator at Jhalakathi and Rajapur Upazillas of Jhalkathi district to disseminate advanced technologies at farmer's level.
